We responded to a service call regarding an electric furnace issue. The customer reported a loud humming noise and provided audio clips for further analysis. Upon inspection, we found that the transformer was outputting only 17 V, indicating it was failing. This low voltage likely caused the humming noise and prevented the oven from heating. We recommended an electrician visit to inspect the electrical panel and address any additional issues to ensure no further problems exist. The customer was informed about the potential transformer failure and advised to schedule an electrician soon.

Ac maintenance. Customer has a different setup. There is a furnace inside that provides heat and a package unit outside that provides cooling. Let customer know that due to age and condition of system there wasn’t much I could do on maintenance. Unit is in pretty bad shape.

Spoke to customer upon arrival. Expressed concern about not having water at all. Found pipes frozen. Heat tape was not on tested outlet defined only 20 V running through outlet. Also saw a leak coming from either check valve or ball valve. Could not tell how big or small leak was due to pipes being frozen. Gave customer price to install new heat tape. Customer did not want to go with price. Customer paid with card
